Directory & caller-ID

Prove it’s really you calling.

Criminals borrow your name, your number and your logo. The Hongi directory gives your organization something they can never borrow: a way for customers to verify you in seconds.

Today the burden of proof sits with your customer. Your bank, utility or front desk calls, and the person answering has to guess whether it’s real, because caller ID can be spoofed and voices can be cloned. Every serious fraud campaign exploits that asymmetry. The organization track flips it: verification becomes something the caller can prove, not something the customer must guess.

Directory listing Pilot — onboarding now

A verified entry your customers can trust

Your organization applies, proves control of its domain, and passes an editorial review. From then on your entry is signed into the directory every Hongi app carries — and customers can pair with the real you, not with whoever claims to be you.

Caller-ID In active development

“Your organization is calling — tap to verify”

When a verified number calls a Hongi user, the app shows the organization’s name from an offline, signed index — no call-log access, no audio, nothing leaving the phone. A spoofed number shows nothing, and that absence is the warning.

Agent verification Co-design with pilots

Your agents prove they call on your behalf

The step beyond caller-ID: a live verification between your agent and the customer during the call itself. How the agent side fits your call-center workflow is exactly what we want to design together with pilot organizations.

What your customers experience

No security training, no judgment calls. An elderly customer sees your name on an incoming call and one button. If the check succeeds, they can relax; if there is nothing to check, they hang up. That habit — verify, then trust — is what your “we will never ask you” campaigns have been trying to teach for years, finally backed by something customers can actually do.

How onboarding works

  1. 1

    Apply

Tell us who you are and which numbers and channels you use to contact customers.

  2. 2

    Prove domain control

One DNS record proves you speak for your organization. Your IT team needs minutes, not weeks.

  3. 3

    Editorial review

We verify the organization exists, does what it says, and is who it claims — one pilot at a time, no pay-to-play.

  4. 4

    Go live

Your signed entry ships with the directory. Customers can pair, verify and — as caller-ID lands — see your name on real calls.

The directory is opening with a small set of anchor organizations.

Join as a pilot and shape how verification works for your sector — the program, the flows and the roadmap.
